Pay with Vipps!

With Vipps, you can easily send and request money, send gifts, and view your account balance. It's as safe as a regular bank transfer but way more convenient!

If you're over 15 years old, you can also pay businesses, make in-store and online payments, pay bills, settle expenses in a group, and subscribe to mobile apps.

To use Vipps, you'll need a Norwegian national identity number or d-number, a Norwegian mobile number, and a Norwegian bank account. If you're above 15 years old, you'll also need a Norwegian payment card (Visa or MasterCard), an email address, and BankID.

Adding a picture of yourself makes it easier for others to recognize you. If you don't add one, we'll provide you with a Vipps-emoji!

You can send up to 5000 kr for free. For amounts exceeding 5000 kr, there's a 1% charge. Sending gifts costs 5 kroner but is free for vippsers under 15. Receiving money is free, and sending money to a business or organization is also free regardless of the amount. Shopping online, making in-store payments, and paying bills with Vipps are all free of charge.
